I am a qualified counsellor registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Physiotherapists.

Life can be incredibly challenging sometimes and you may experience feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, shame, guilt, anger and stress.  I completely understand how daunting it may be to take the first steps towards counselling, as I was once in the other chair too.  However, after having a positive and empowering experience, I knew then this was something I wanted to study to enable me to support other people on their journey.

I work integratively which means I call on a variety of theories and methods, such as Person Centered, Transactional Analysis, CBT, Inner child and solution focused, depending what each individual client may want.

I have worked with teenagers as well as adults, offering a safe and confidential environment for you to talk openly.

Counselling is a very personal and individual journey, so choosing the right counsellor for you is key. I offer a free 20 min no obligation chat to ask any questions about my sessions.

Since the relationship between client and therapist is the foundation of good therapeutic work, I offer prospective clients a free initial session to get to know each other and see if things feel right.

Welcome, are you ready to tell your story? We all have a story that shapes us, and I would be honoured to hear yours.

As a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, I would like to offer you the safety of sharing your story in a way that helps you heal from within. Without judgement or agenda, I am here to listen, explore and help you remain curious about who you are and what has shaped you.

My core training and subsequent studies in relational therapies allow me to accompany you as you unravel the story of your life and maybe even start to write some new chapters. I know, from my own lived experience, that talking therapy has the unique power to positively alter the direction of your story. How might that look for you?

We all have times in our lives that challenge us, that force us to evaluate who and where we are. Perhaps you’re feeling hopeless or stuck, maybe looking for direction, fulfilment or contentment.

Perhaps you have reached a stage in your life where you know something needs to change but you just aren’t sure what or how. Or maybe there has been a significant event in your life that has prompted you to reach out, a bereavement, loss, rejection or ill health. Maybe you are struggling with some or all your relationships, maybe you just don’t know what the problem is, but you know things aren’t quite right.

Counselling is place for you, just for you. A place to gently and compassionately connect with your truest self and be held in your vulnerability.

Rest assured my priority is you, the client, and if I am not the right fit for you, I will do my best to put you in touch with colleagues that maybe a better fit, judgement free.

If you would like to connect with me, I would be honoured.

Integrative Counsellor

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Counselling is a space to explore, understand, and make sense of your emotions and experiences. I believe that when we do the work, therapy can bring profound insight and meaningful change, helping you move through feelings, patterns, or challenges that may have kept you stuck.

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where we can gently unpack the issues affecting your life. Together, we will work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you, and I will support you in understanding your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours so you can begin to make changes that feel achievable and sustainable.

About my practice: I work as an integrative counsellor with psychodynamic principles at the heart of what I do, blending techniques from other modalities—such as humanistic, person-centred, cognitive, transactional analysis, and mindfulness counselling—to tailor therapy to your needs. I like to work creatively and holistically, drawing on a range of approaches to help clients connect with themselves in a way that feels right for them.

What I can help with:  In my private practice, I work with adults on issues including—but not limited to—anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-harm, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, the impact of addiction, women’s issues, menopause, and challenges related to work or life transitions.

How I work: I offer face-to-face, online, short-term, long-term, and time-limited sessions, providing a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Therapy with me is collaborative—you set the pace, and I will guide and hold the space to help you explore, understand, and make sense of your experiences.

A little about me: My own experience of counselling inspired me to train as a therapist. I now work in private practice with adults, alongside my work with young people in secondary schools. Since qualifying, I have supported children and families through the children and family’s pathway of a local charity and worked as a counsellor within a leading national arts organisation. These experiences have shaped the inclusive and empathetic approach I bring to my work.
