About Dawn

Dawn has worked in the wellbeing world for 27 years.  As a Hatha Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Pilates and Mindfulness teacher. Mentor.  Cranial Sacral Therapist. Body Worker and Masseuse.  She is an experienced retreat and workshop leader, speaker, blogger/writer.  Dawn is currently working on her first book, "She Who Roared."

Her belief is that we all have the capacity to experience happiness, inner peace and a sense of connectedness.  That rather than seeing the challenges that life offers as obstacles which get in the way of our inherent state of peace and happiness, those experiences instead can act as an entry point to a greater understanding, wisdom, self-awareness and self-compassion.

Dawn's approach is dynamic and integrative, steeped in mindfulness, compassion and kindness.  She believes that by gently and with compassion pointing the way back to your direct experience life itself acts as your greatest teacher and friend.

After all we are here to live, to love, to learn, to contribute, to express, to make connections. The practises Dawn offers help you to walk more lightly, kindly, and with a greater understanding and compassion in each precious moment of your life.

Dawn's ethos is steeped in her experiences from the world of Buddhism, Mindfulness and Yoga.  She is strongly informed by the teachings of Ram Dass an inspirational and exceptional spiritual teacher.

As Ram Dass stated so eloquently, "We are all walking each other home."

 

Life is your practise, we do not practise to escape life we practise to find the sweetness and love within it.
