Modern love and relationships can be tricky. Being in a relationship can be a wonderful experience. It can also be unsatisfying when things are not going well.
I am a Relate trained relationship counsellor and believe that the pursuit of happiness in our lives and the quality of our relationships goes hand in hand. If you are going through a difficult time with issues like poor communication, arguments, fear of separation, intimacy, blended families, trust, jealousy, feeling misunderstood, lonely, anxious or stressed, the likelihood is
that these feelings will be impacting on your relationships.
Maybe you’re in a new challenging relationship or in a long-term relationship and feel the spark has gone or you’re simply not communicating with each other as you’d like to. You may be struggling relating to friends or family members, or you may be avoiding entering a relationship for fear of being hurt.
My focus is to break patterns of behaviour that are having a negative impact of your relationships and life. I will help you focus on your own ability to move forward and develop an understanding of what your needs are and how they fit with the people around you.
I have a MA in Relationship Therapy. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework and code of conduct. I have BA in Communications Studies & Sociology from Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
